"Lucid Dream"
(Rohan Solomon, Srijan Mahajan, Rohan Kale, Carl Abraham, Michelle Lobo)

Lyrics - Rohan Solomon

If i wanna see you, I just close my eyes.
If i wanna be with you, don't you think it's a big surprise.
And I just wanna hold your hand.......I just Wanna hold your hand
you're so beautiful, think you should understand.

Cuz this world could come to an end
if i cannot be with you
I hope that you'll take my hand
We will bring back the feelings that are frozen in my heart.

Chorus:
You're beauty is unexplainable
You're softness unimaginable
These feelings i can't redeem
Cuz it's only a lucid dream
I wanna make it real
That's the only way i feel.
I'm living a lucid dream
I can't change the way i feel.

I get lost in her eyes
eyes so bright like fireflies.
In her dimples a whole world she holds.
In his voice a chamber of secrets unfolds.
At sunset our souls become one as it seems,
when I wake up I realise it's just a lucid dream.

Cuz this world could come to an end
if i cannot be with you, yeah!!!
I hope that you'll take my hand
We will bring back the feelings that are frozen in my heart.

Repeat Chorus x 2

A brief story: -

'Lucid Dream' was written by Rohan Solomon at our drummer, Shardul Mehta's place when he heard Rahul playing a chord progression on my guitar. He asked Rahul to keep playing the same thing over and over again and then, sat down on the floor with a pen and a paper and started scribbling down some lyrics. In about 15 minutes or so, Rohan was ready with the lyrics of 'Lucid Dream'. With the verses and the choruses ready, Rohan and Rahul recorded the song on Rahul's M.D. Player with only an acoustic guitar and the vocals and it sounded great, but this was only raw material. We made the rest of the band listen to our amateur recording after which we guys decided to go down to the recording studio for a proper recording. Till that point of time, the band had never practiced the song together before going to the studio. Whatever changes that were made in the song, John?s Lead riffs, Bharat's bass lines, etc were made in the studio itself, so the song was basically 'made' IN the studio!!
